You’ll need lots of room for the plants. Gourds grow on vines and the vines get huge.
You’ll also need to provide supplemental light for the plants. A regular incandescent lightbulb or sunlight through a window will not be adequate.
You’ll need to pollinate the blossoms yourself if you expect to produce any gourds. The flowers are typically pollinated by insects when they grow outdoors.
It’s not something I would attempt to do, but hey, whatever trips your trigger.
